We hope everyone took time yesterday to reflect on the many blessings in their lives.
We have much to be thankful for - including our friends and customers.
As we get back to work and busy with holiday preparations, may we all have an attitude of gratitude!God, thank you for the men and women who dedicate their lives so I can eat.
To those who have felt and worn the soil both under their fingernails and through stain-ridden clothes.
To those who have cared for animals in the wee hours of the morning and late into the night.
God, thank you for the men and women who go to bed each night knowing they’ve chosen a career that doesn’t always give back what they put in.
We ask you to watch over these individuals and be with them each day in hard times and good.
We ask you to nurture a society that thanks these individuals as much as us.
God, I thank you for these men and women, for farmers.
Amen.
Happy Thanksgiving from our families to yours. ... See MoreSee Less
Never any rest at Red Hill. Thankful for the wonderful rain last night. Its been so long since we have had an inch of rain we can't remember when it was. We sure made good use of the last few days of dry weather- crops in bin, hay roller finished for the year, manure spread, bulls delivered and Ty got a deer. ... See MoreSee Less

About all anybody around here has been able to stockpile this fall has been dust! Way to dry for much fall grass growth.
My cows would be too, but the pastures had rest with no rain(so it’s all just burnt up and dust)!
Looks like they have great forage!
